Print Marketing is Not Dead

The internet is a hubbub of advertising; a great tool to use when it comes to marketing a product or a service. With social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter directing traffic to and from various businesses, the internet is a great resource to be seen and heard on, and even to interact with the market.

Who says Print Media is dead?

Because of clever marketing, the internet has become a main source of information for products all around the world. The internet is a wonderful tool and the first that many people think of when needing to market their product; however, print marketing is not dead. Variable letter printing is still a great way to spread information about products and services.

Letter printing is just that – a mass printing of letters that provide product and service information and are mailed door to door. This kind of marketing is done for a variety of products and services and if professionally made and properly distributed, can be just as effective, if not more effective, than marketing campaigns online, and with the amount of advertising in a day, letter printing is a great way to cut through all of the clutter and allows people to filter out important ads from needless ones.

Junk Mail versus Letter Printing

The downside to letter printing is the volume of junk mail that houses receive, but what’s the difference between junk mail and letter printing? Letter printing is often addressed directly to the potential client with a detailed explanation of the products or services offered because people tend to think that print media is dead.

Print Marketing CollateralThe trick is in making sure that the content of the letter is written both personally and professionally. If the content does indeed read as professional and personal, the client will be less likely to assume it is junk mail. Clients may think that print marketing is dead but, if letters are written well, the client is more inclined to read the letter rather than just tossing it aside like they would a junk mail flyer.

This helps to build trust with the client, something that can be lacking when it comes to traditional types of marketing, such as television commercials and radio ads. Even online marketing sometimes lacks the careful attention that clients need in order to feel at peace with their buying power.

Personal and Professional Quality

Online marketing can literally be anywhere and even though this seems like a good advertising strategy, potential clients can feel bombarded and overloaded with how many advertisements they see, even on a single page. Letter printing can cut through the daily clutter and information overload by making a concise and straight forward piece of text, delivered right to the client’s door, with all of the relevant information presented in a personal and professional way and remind people that print marketing is not dead.

Businesses shouldn’t dismiss the use of print media, nor should they stop using the internet as a way to connect with potential client bases, but the use of letter printing offers a unique and helpful way to advertise for products and services because traditional print marketing is not dead.
